Overview
Paris - France

The Arab Knowledge Project (AKP) is currently working on the preparation of the Arab Knowledge Index (AKI) 2016, which builds on last year’s AKI (2015).  As part of its preparatory activities, the AKP decided to hold a meeting with top experts from OECD to present and discuss the Index conceptual and statistical methodologies while looking for ways of refinement and improvement. The AKP also looks forward to seeing whether the terminology used is compliant with what is being used internationally.

Participants from OECD will include:

  • Michael Ward, Senior Policy Analyst, PISA for Development
  • Miyako Ikeda, Senior Analyst, PISA
  • Eric Charbonnier, Expert on Education
  • Corinne Heckmann, Lead Analyst
